Wagner Moura Cast in Ocean's Eleven Prequel Directed by Bradley Cooper

Oscar‑nominee Wagner Moura has been added to the cast of the Ocean’s Eleven prequel, a heist film set around the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix. The movie is being directed, co‑written and starred in by Bradley Cooper, who also produces alongside Margot Robbie. Robbie, also a producer, has said the story will focus on the younger versions of Danny Ocean’s parents. Filming is scheduled to begin in July in Paris before moving to the south of France, with a theatrical release planned for 25 June 2027.

The prequel joins a broader revival of the franchise, with George Clooney developing a new sequel and other original stars such as Julia Roberts, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt expected to return in future projects.
