Wagner Moura to Play Villain in Ocean's Eleven Prequel
Brazilian actor Wagner Moura confirmed his participation in the upcoming Ocean's Eleven franchise prequel, set as a prelude to the original heist series. He will portray the main antagonist, joining a cast that includes Margot Robbie and director‑actor Bradley Cooper, who also writes and produces the film.
Moura said he is "very excited" and that the role could only happen after the success of his film "O Agente Secreto." He will finish his European theatre tour of "Julgamento – Depois do Inimigo do Povo" on 11 August, after which the production will wait for him to begin filming. Shooting is scheduled to start in Paris and the south of France, with the story taking place during the Monaco Grand Prix of 1962 (or 1963). The film is slated for a theatrical release in June 2027.
