Wagner Moura recommends five Brazilian films on Netflix

Following the release of the Netflix production ‘A Última Casa’, Brazilian actor Wagner Moura has recommended five Brazilian films available on the streaming platform.

The selected films include:

‘O Som ao Redor’, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho, which explores the arrival of a private militia in a middle-class neighborhood in Recife.

‘Pixote: A Lei do Mais Fraco’, directed by Hector Babenco, depicting the harsh reality of an 11-year-old boy living on the streets of São Paulo.

‘O Céu de Suely’, directed by Karim Aïnouz, following a young woman in Ceará attempting to rebuild her life.

‘Terra Estrangeira’, by Walter Salles and Daniela Thomas, which portrays the economic chaos of the Collor era and a smuggling scheme involving Lisbon.
