WAGO highlights resource efficiency and circularity in new best‑practice film
WAGO GmbH & Co. KG, a leading developer of connection and automation technology based in Minden, Germany, is featured in a new best‑practice film produced by the Efficiency Agency NRW (efa). The film demonstrates how the company has reduced material usage in production, introduced resource‑saving logistics, and created recyclable products and packaging. It also shows how WAGO has integrated circular‑economy principles into its innovation process with the support of efa’s CIRCO method and interdisciplinary project teams.
Anja Vogel, a consultant at efa, says the measures improve the company’s economic viability while contributing to climate and environmental protection. The film is now available on efa’s YouTube channel, which also hosts other examples of resource‑efficient and circular‑economy practices.
The Efficiency Agency NRW, a neutral institution funded by the NRW Ministry of the Environment, assists companies across North‑Rhine‑Westphalia in developing sustainable products, processes and business models.
