Collegiate golf: Florida State wins Folds of Honor Collegiate
Collegiate golf tournaments saw significant results this week. At the Folds of Honor Collegiate, the Florida State women's team secured the championship after overcoming a seven-stroke deficit. Haruhi Nakatani shared the individual title, finishing at six-under 210. Duke's Mia Hammond also claimed co-medalist honors in her collegiate debut, finishing at six-under 210, while the Duke team placed third overall.
In the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M, Wake Forest maintained a strong lead in the women's field. The Oregon women's team moved into second place following a strong second round. Other notable performances included Auburn finishing fourth and the University of Houston climbing to ninth in the standings.
In the men's division of the Folds of Honor Collegiate, Georgia Tech claimed the team title. Sascha Robinson led the Florida A&M men's team as the low-scorer for the Rattlers.
