Wakefield Trinity to field Tom Johnstone in Super League clash with Hull KR
Wakefield Trinity have confirmed the return of England winger Tom Johnstone for their Super League home game against Hull KR. Johnstone missed the first half of the season with an Achilles injury and a post‑off‑season hernia operation, playing only six matches before this comeback. He said the recovery took longer than expected but he is now fit to start.
Hull KR have also named a largely unchanged line‑up, while other fixtures on the Super League round include Huddersfield Giants versus Toulouse Olympique and Catalans Dragons hosting Wigan Warriors. The team announcements complete the Saturday triple‑header slated for broadcast on BBC Two and at the FLAIR Stadium in Dewsbury.
