Waldeck youth fire brigades hold annual city tent camp

The youth and children's fire brigades of Waldeck held their annual city tent camp in Sachsenhausen from August 14 to 16, 2026. The event brought together 75 young firefighters aged 10 to 18, accompanied by 15 supervisors.

During the competition, which tested precision, skill, speed, and teamwork, the Freienhagen I team emerged as the winner of both the district competition and the city championship, surpassing Ober-Werbe I. The weekend included a ceremonial torchlight procession and was attended by local officials, including Mayor Nicolas Havel.
