Waldhof Mannheim and Wormatia Worms schedule July pre‑season test matches

SV Waldhof Mannheim will play its second pre‑season test match on 4 July at SV Moosbrunn, with kickoff at 15:00. The club, now under new coach Rui Mota, previously opened training with a 15‑0 win over SpVgg Wallstadt and confirmed the signing of striker Gonçalo Gregorio. Upcoming friendlies include fixtures against VfR Mannheim and Eintracht Frankfurt, with a DFB‑Pokal first‑round tie against 1 FC Kaiserslautern slated for August.

Wormatia Worms will also begin its pre‑season on 4 July, facing Viktoria Aschaffenburg at the Am Schönbusch ground at 11:00. Trainer Artur Lemm said the club will rotate players to assess the squad, with results being secondary. The original schedule against VfR Mannheim and Karlsruher SC U21 was cancelled; replacement matches have been arranged against Hanauer SC on 15 July and FSV Fernwald on 19 July.
