Waldorf schools host community educational events in Argentina and Chile

Waldorf educational institutions in Argentina and Chile are hosting community events to demonstrate their pedagogical methodologies.

In Rama Caída, Argentina, the Escuela Waldorf Verde Chañar is organizing an ‘Open School’ day. The initiative allows families to experience the daily classroom dynamics, including morning circles and rhythmic activities. The school focuses on balancing cognitive, emotional, and physical development through hands-on activities such as art, clay work, and cooking. The institution is currently preparing to expand its curriculum to include eighth grade by the 2026 school year.

In Limache, Chile, Colegio Waldorf Hipatia is hosting ‘Hipatia Dialogues,’ a community event focused on ‘Waldorf Pedagogy and Adolescence.’ The session features Rafael Basualto, founder of Colegio Waldorf Michelangelo, who will discuss the evolutionary challenges of adolescence and provide tools for adults to support young people during this developmental stage.
