Wales A-level results show rising pass rates

Students in Caerphilly County Borough are receiving their A-level results. The overall pass rate in Wales for grades A* to E is 97.7%, a slight increase from the previous year. The number of students sitting exams has grown, with 13,930 students receiving grades this summer.

Local institutions reported specific outcomes: St Martin’s School saw 20% of students achieve A*-A grades and a 94% pass rate for A*-E. Coleg Gwent reported a 98.3% pass rate for A*-E grades, while its Crosskeys campus achieved an 88.91% pass rate.
