Wales rugby squad updated following Rio Dyer injury

Wales head coach Steve Tandy has adjusted the 39-man squad for the upcoming Nations Championship following an injury to Dragons winger Rio Dyer. Dyer was released from the squad after sustaining a hamstring injury during a recent URC match against the Ospreys.

Scarlets winger Macs Page has been called up to replace Dyer. The 21-year-old, who is currently uncapped, provides additional depth in the back three and at outside centre. Page’s inclusion follows recent speculation regarding his international future and potential moves to other clubs.

Wales is scheduled to begin its November campaign against Japan in Cardiff on November 7.
