Walex Raimundo Santos Sporting Sala Consilina futsal signing Leonardo Brunelli Club World Cup

Brazilian left‑back Walex Raimundo Santos “Lacraia”, born in 1993 and left‑footed, has joined the Italian futsal side Sporting Sala Consilina. Santos previously played for clubs in Brazil, Iran, Spain, France, Saudi Arabia, Italy and Croatia and was part of the Magnus Futsal team that won the Club World Cup in 2019. He said he is “very happy to return to Italy” and looks forward to contributing to the team’s success.

The club also announced the return of former forward Leonardo Brunelli, who scored 128 goals in four seasons and helped Sporting achieve promotion to Serie A and win the Serie A2 Italian Cup. Both players were welcomed by the club ahead of the upcoming season.
