Walid Cheddira's Napoli future: Frosinone and Verona compete for striker

Moroccan forward Walid Cheddira, currently under contract with Napoli, is the subject of transfer interest from Serie A clubs Frosinone and Verona. Both clubs see the striker as a possible key addition to bolster their attacking options and keep him in Italy’s top flight.

Frosinone president Maurizio Stirpe said the club’s chances are low, noting “in questo momento do un 20 % di possibilità, a scendere,” and highlighted the player’s high wage demands and the need for agreement among the sporting director, coach and investors. Verona is also actively pursuing the deal, with their interest potentially favored if the player prioritises regular Serie A play.
