Walid Regragui praises Ismaël Saibari's potential at elite clubs

Former Moroccan national team coach Walid Regragui has praised the tactical intelligence and versatility of midfielder Ismaël Saibari, suggesting the player could have succeeded at elite clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain or FC Barcelona.

In an interview with L’Équipe, Regragui highlighted Saibari’s ability to sacrifice for the team through pressing and intelligent movement, describing him as a player with a high football IQ who consistently finds space to provide passing solutions. Regragui noted Saibari's versatility, stating he can operate in central midfield or on the flanks, often drifting inside to act as a number 10.

Saibari, who previously played for PSV Eindhoven, joined Bayern Munich last summer in a transfer estimated at 55 million euros on a contract lasting until 2031. His move followed a highly productive period at PSV, where he recorded significant goal and assist contributions.
