Wall-E the Labrador mix surrendered to Arizona animal shelter
A six-year-old Labrador mix named Wall-E was recently surrendered to the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) shelter in Arizona. The dog was returned to the facility by his former owners, who reportedly cited a lack of time as the reason for the surrender.
Wall-E arrived at the shelter with his bed and toys packed into two torn trash bags. Following the surrender, shelter staff noted that the dog appeared depressed, withdrawn, and exhibited frequent barking in his kennel. After two months without being adopted, the shelter shared a photograph of the dog with his belongings on social media to help find him a new home.
