Wall heating systems offer energy efficiency and cooling
Wall heating systems are gaining popularity as a modern, low-temperature alternative to traditional radiators. These systems function through heat radiation, where the entire wall surface acts as a radiator to provide uniform temperatures without dust or drafts.
There are two primary installation methods: wet installation, where pipes are fixed to walls and covered with plaster, and dry installation, which uses prefabricated gypsum panels with integrated pipes. While the dry method is faster for renovations, it is generally more expensive. Water-based systems are common for larger objects, circulating water between 28°C and 40°C in winter.
When paired with a heat pump, these systems can also provide cooling in the summer by circulating water at 16°C to 18°C. However, users must manage humidity to prevent condensation. Installation costs for the pipes and basic mounting range from approximately 15 to 24 euros per square meter, while the total cost for a complete system including valves and regulation typically falls between 30 and 40 euros per square meter.
