Wallabies name 34-man squad for Bledisloe Cup series

Wallabies head coach Les Kiss has announced a 34-man squad for the upcoming Bledisloe Cup series against the All Blacks, which begins on October 10 at Eden Park in Auckland.

The squad features several notable changes and injury concerns. Uncapped forward Toby Macpherson has earned his first call-up, replacing Tom Hooper, who has returned to his club, Exeter Chiefs. Prop Taniela Tupou is also unavailable due to club commitments with Racing 92, leading to the recall of Massimo De Lutiis.

Injury and disciplinary issues impact the midfield. Star centre Len Ikitau has been included despite a recent ankle injury, though the severity is being monitored. Hunter Paisami is also named in the squad but faces a potential suspension following a disciplinary hearing regarding a dangerous tackle. If Paisami is banned, Jock Campbell will be called into the group. Additionally, Nick Frost has been added as injury cover for Josh Canham, who is managing a hamstring strain.
