Wallapop reports 28 million euro loss despite 15% revenue growth

Wallapop reported a loss of 28 million euros for 2025, an increase from the 25 million euro loss recorded in 2024. Despite the deficit, the company's revenue grew by 15% year-on-year, reaching 116 million euros.

The company attributed the losses to an 84 million euro incentive plan executed for investors, collaborators, and employees following its sale to the Naver conglomerate in January 2026. To cover this, the company provisioned an additional 31 million euros on top of the 53 million euros previously planned.

Key revenue drivers included Wallapop Envíos, which generated over 85 million euros (a 15% increase), and subscription and visibility services, which earned over 27 million euros (a 23% increase). CEO Rob Cassedy noted that the company became the top platform for car advertisements in Spain during 2025 and expects to reach profitability in the next fiscal year as it consolidates its presence in Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
