Wallisellen‑Dübendorf Streetsoccer Field for Youth to Open March 2024

The Quartierverein Zwicky, together with the youth services of Wallisellen and Dübendorf, approved a synthetic‑turf streetsoccer field to serve residents aged 8‑16 in the Zwicky neighbourhood. After two successful pilot projects in 2021‑22 and a petition signed by over 400 locals, the joint work‑group finalized plans in 2023. Construction began in March 2024 and the facility is intended to provide permanent space for football, skateboarding, biking and street‑workout activities that were previously lacking.

The project is funded by the two municipalities and managed by a dedicated operations team, aiming to improve recreational opportunities and social cohesion for the area's youth.
