Walmart and Target offer budget pumpkin cookware alternatives

Retailers Walmart and Target are offering budget-friendly alternatives to high-end Le Creuset pumpkin-shaped cookware for the fall season.

Walmart carries the Pioneer Woman line, which includes a pumpkin-shaped stoneware oval baking dish priced at approximately $30. This serves as a lower-cost option compared to the Le Creuset version, which retails for nearly $375.

Target has released the Threshold Stoneware Large Pumpkin Baking Dish for $20. While Le Creuset products are typically made of enameled cast iron designed for heavy-duty cooking and superior heat retention, Target’s stoneware version is intended as a simpler vessel for baking and serving items such as pumpkin bread or casseroles.
