Disney theme parks implement seasonal changes and schedule updates

Disney theme parks are implementing several operational and seasonal changes for the upcoming fall period. At Walt Disney World, the Magic Kingdom fireworks show, ‘Happily Ever After’, is scheduled to move to an earlier start time. The show will shift to 9:30 p.m. on August 31, and eventually to 9:00 p.m. on select nights starting October 5.

Additionally, Disney World has enacted transportation restrictions for the Halloween season. Guests traveling from Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels via bus may be required to provide proof of a valid resort room key, dining reservation, or experience reservation to board.

To prepare for the Halloween season, approximately 80 cast members from Disney’s Holiday Services worked overnight to install seasonal decorations across the resort. Meanwhile, Disney After Hours events continue to offer limited-capacity, late-night access to major attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with ticket prices ranging from $159 to $189.
