Walt Disney World ends free water park perk for Resort guests

Walt Disney World has ended its summer promotion that provided eligible Resort hotel guests with complimentary admission to a Disney water park on their check-in day. The benefit, which allowed guests to visit Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon without additional charges, officially expired on September 9.

While Disney has confirmed the perk is expected to return next summer, travelers visiting during the fall, winter, and spring seasons will now be required to purchase separate admission. Current water park ticket prices are approximately $78.81 after tax for adults and $72.42 after tax for children, which can significantly increase the total cost for families of four.
