Walt Disney World experienced widespread ride closures across all parks

Walt Disney World experienced widespread operational disruptions yesterday, with more than 30 attractions across all four theme parks facing temporary closures. The downtime was attributed to a combination of severe Florida weather, computer sensor resets, and mechanical failures.

At Magic Kingdom, several major attractions were affected. TRON Lightcycle / Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure both experienced shutdowns lasting between 45 and 60 minutes in the late afternoon. Pirates of the Caribbean was offline for approximately 40 minutes during the evening, and Peter Pan’s Flight faced a technical halt of roughly 35 to 45 minutes. Other rides, including the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and various spinner rides, experienced intermittent holds due to rain.
