Walt Disney World announces November schedule changes and holiday offerings

Walt Disney World has announced several operational updates and seasonal offerings for November 2026. Magic Kingdom will implement extended operating hours on several dates, including an 8 a.m. opening on November 8, 9, and 13, and a late closing at 11 p.m. on November 10, 11, and 14.

For the holiday season, Disney has unveiled a variety of festive food and beverage options. New treats include a Peppermint-Chocolate Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich at Animal Kingdom’s new Santa’s Holiday Grove, gingerbread-inspired items at Disney Springs, and specialty dishes for the Disney Jollywood Nights event at Hollywood Studios, such as Twix on a Classic Pie and Hickory Holiday Mac.

Travelers should note potential disruptions, including construction permits at Caribbean Beach Resort and Old Key West Resort, as well as an early closure for the Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction on November 5. Additionally, the first week of November is expected to see high attendance and increased costs due to the annual New Jersey school break, often referred to as ‘Jersey Week’.

Regarding travel logistics, historical data suggests that Christmas flight fares are typically lowest approximately 56 days before departure.
