Walt Disney World implements price hikes and policy changes
Walt Disney World is implementing several pricing changes and policy adjustments affecting guest costs. The Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which allows one-time access to participating attractions without booking return times, has seen high demand and multiple sellouts. At Magic Kingdom, pricing for the pass fluctuates with demand, ranging from $299 to $429 per person. High demand has already led to sellouts for several dates during the Columbus Day holiday weekend.
Additionally, Disney has removed a long-standing discount for eligible guests, including Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members, on bottled beverages purchased inside certain merchandise locations. This change follows recent price increases for Annual Passes, food, beverages, and select experiences. Some single-day theme park tickets are also expected to reach a maximum price of $229.
