Walt Disney World issued wind advisory for Central Florida

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the Walt Disney World Resort area, effective from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on October 27, 2026. The advisory covers several counties, including Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia.

Northeast winds are expected to range between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts reaching 35 to 40 mph. Some isolated squalls may bring gusts as high as 45 to 50 mph. While Disney has not implemented operational changes at this time, the weather may affect outdoor entertainment, such as fireworks, and certain outdoor attractions.

Visitors are encouraged to monitor the My Disney Experience app for real-time updates regarding attractions and entertainment. Drivers are also warned that high winds may make operating large vehicles difficult.
