Walt Disney World issues felony trespassing warnings at Lakeshore Lodge site

Walt Disney World has installed strict no-trespassing signage on the access road leading to the future Lakeshore Lodge construction site. The signs explicitly warn that the area is a designated construction zone and that anyone trespassing on the property commits a felony.

The new resort is being built on the shores of Bay Lake, situated between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Because Walt Disney World operates as private property, the company maintains the legal authority to involve law enforcement or ban unauthorized visitors from the resort entirely.
