Walt Disney World to reopen Magic Kingdom's Big Top Souvenirs

Walt Disney World has announced that Big Top Souvenirs, a staple location in the Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland, will officially reopen on August 21. The reopening ends a closure that began on February 20, 2026, lasting nearly six months through the spring and most of the summer.

Big Top Souvenirs serves as both a retail shop for Disney merchandise and a destination for snacks and desserts. The location is designed to match the circus theme of the surrounding area, which includes the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction. Disney has teased that the reopening will include “sweet surprises and tasty treats,” including items inspired by Mickey Mouse and Dumbo.

The return of the shop occurs as Magic Kingdom continues to undergo various construction projects and updates to longtime attractions and new areas.
