Walt Disney World updates Express Monorail narration

Walt Disney World has updated the audio narration on its Express Monorail, which runs between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Magic Kingdom. The new announcements include an explicit directive stating that vaping is not permitted on the monorail.

In addition to the vaping warning, the script has undergone linguistic changes. The phrase “host or hostess will be happy to assist” has been replaced with “Cast Member will be happy to assist.” The traditional greeting “Ladies and Gentlemen” remains part of the announcement.

While the narration now explicitly mentions vaping, the change appears to reinforce existing resort policies that restrict smoking and vaping to designated areas rather than introducing a new rule. Observations of the update suggest the implementation may still be in progress, as some riders reported hearing incorrect narration snippets from other monorail lines.
