Walter Lehnertz threatens to leave Germany if AfD takes power

Walter ‘Waldi’ Lehnertz, a well-known antique dealer from the ZDF program ‘Bares für Rares’, has expressed his intention to leave Germany if the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party takes over government responsibility.

Lehnertz stated that his decision is rooted in concerns regarding the country’s democratic order. He remarked, ‘I do not want to live in a country where a party is at the helm that tramples our democratic basic order underfoot.’ As an alternative residence, he mentioned the possibility of moving to a finca in Mallorca, Spain.
