Walter Melcore joins Futuro Nazionale in Reggio Calabria

Pancrazio “Walter” Melcore, the provincial president of UDC and Democrazia Cristiana, has joined the Futuro Nazionale political project. This move follows a political assembly held on August 13 at Pilone di Santa Trada.

Melcore’s entry is considered significant due to his political history in the Locride region. In a previous candidacy for the Chamber of Deputies in the Siderno constituency, he secured 23,259 votes, representing 45% of valid votes and falling just 1,822 votes short of election.

The timing is politically relevant as the Siderno constituency, which covers a large area of the Calabria-U05 constituency, is scheduled for by-elections on September 27 and 28. Futuro Nazionale aims to leverage Melcore’s administrative experience and local territorial knowledge during this upcoming electoral challenge.
