Walter Sabatini discusses Claudio Lotito and football management

Former sports director Walter Sabatini has provided insights into his professional relationship with Claudio Lotito. In an interview with Radio Touring, Sabatini described Lotito as “prorompente, invadente ma equilibrato” (imposing, intrusive but balanced), noting that Lotito respects professional roles and is highly determined to achieve his objectives.

Sabatini reflected on his five years working with Lotito at Lazio, stating that Lotito provided him with opportunities during a difficult period in his career. He also commented on Lotito’s involvement with Reggina, suggesting that the owner will commit significant resources to help the club reach higher divisions.

Regarding his current work with Pro Patria, Sabatini addressed potential interest from Reggina in the player Barranco. He expressed a desire to keep the player, describing him as generous and combative, and stated that there is currently no intention to sell him.
