Waltrop youth football teams miss title but claim season honors

The VfB Waltrop U17 side finished second in the Westfalenliga, falling short of the championship after a victory on the final matchday, while SV Lippstadt secured the title.

A season‑end selection for the Ostwestfalen region named a "Top Elf" of the campaign. Teutonia SuS Waltrop midfielder Marlon Schiffer, who was voted player of the season, earned a spot alongside goalkeeper Kevin van Holt and defender Nils Kiesenberg. The lineup also featured players from Borussia Ahsen, SW Meckinghoven, GW Erkenschwick and other local clubs.
