Wanda Nara receives Martín Fierro de la Música award

Wanda Nara, entrepreneur and media personality, was awarded a Martín Fierro de la Música award for her song ‘Bad Bitch’. The recognition was specifically for the ‘Viral Song’ category, highlighting the track's significant digital repercussion and popularity on social media rather than traditional vocal virtuosity.

The award has sparked debate within the Argentine media industry. During the ceremony, Nara remarked that she performs so many different roles that she had almost forgotten she had once sung.

Critics and media figures have expressed mixed reactions. Juana Viale questioned Nara's classification as a singer, suggesting her strengths lie more in media hosting and business. Meanwhile, actress Luisa Albinoni defended the recognition, suggesting the industry should remain open to different types of professional trajectories.
