Wanda Nara to debut as actress in Argentine film

Wanda Nara will make her official acting debut in the Argentine romantic comedy “¿Querés ser mi hijo?”, scheduled to premiere in cinemas on October 22. The film is an adaptation of a 2023 Mexican production and was filmed in Uruguay.

Nara plays Lucía, a 40-year-old woman who discovers her husband's infidelity after 15 years of marriage. To navigate her new reality, she enters an unexpected relationship with her 23-year-old neighbor, played by singer Agustín Bernasconi. The plot involves Lucía asking Bernasconi to pose as her son to gain an advantage during a job interview, a lie that eventually leads to developing romantic feelings.

Regarding her preparation, Nara revealed on social media that she gained 10 kilograms to portray the character of Lucía. She described the project as a significant physical and professional challenge, noting that the human team involved in the production was a captivating aspect of the experience.
