Wanda Nara's 'Academia Wanda' online course draws criticism and price scrutiny

Argentine television personality and entrepreneur Wanda Nara introduced an online education platform called Academia Wanda, aimed at helping women improve personal confidence, build personal brands and start businesses. The program is divided into three main sections – mindset, personal brand and growth – with an additional “Self‑Protection” module. Pricing is set at 100,000 Argentine pesos for local participants and $67 (about 2,700 Turkish lira) for foreigners, with lifetime access to the video and audio lessons.

Model and long‑time modeling‑school director Anamá Ferreira publicly questioned the course during an interview, warning that the offering could mislead consumers, especially in a tight economic climate. Ferreira compared her own school’s transparent promises with what she described as Nara’s “diploma and notebook” approach, urging potential buyers to be cautious about unrealistic expectations.

The launch follows Nara’s recent media focus on her personal life and marks a shift toward presenting herself as a business leader promoting female empowerment.
