Wandercraft acquires Ekso Bionics to lead medical exoskeleton market

Wandercraft has completed the acquisition of Ekso Bionics from a subsidiary of ChronoScale Holdings Corporation. The transaction received unanimous approval from the boards of directors of both companies and was closed simultaneously with the agreement. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The merger establishes the world’s largest manufacturer of medical exoskeletons by combining Wandercraft’s expertise in physical AI and robotics with Ekso Bionics’ established clinical footprint and commercial infrastructure in the United States. The combined entity aims to leverage Wandercraft’s leadership in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) markets alongside Ekso Bionics’ extensive distribution network.

The unified portfolio will include four specialized systems: the Atalante X and EksoNR for clinical rehabilitation, and the Eve and Indego Personal systems for individual mobility. These products are currently utilized in more than 700 rehabilitation and research centers globally. The company stated it does not plan to discontinue any existing product lines.
