Wang Wan-ling pleads guilty to domestic violence protection order violations
Wang Wan-ling, associated with Hongtai, appeared in court to plead guilty to violating a domestic violence protection order. The charges stemmed from incidents where she allegedly followed a female employee and installed surveillance cameras to monitor her husband, Lin Hung-nan.
The Taipei District Court noted that the parties have reached a settlement, though the specific terms remain confidential under a non-disclosure agreement. Following the plea and settlement, the judge proceeded with a summary judgment process.
Separately, in a different legal matter, Wang Wen was granted bail by the High Court in a case involving charges of coercion and causing death by injury. The court set bail at 6 million TWD and imposed strict conditions, including eight months of electronic monitoring, residence restrictions in Taipei, and travel bans.
