Wanli District Office hosts first one-stop scooter licensing service

The Wanli District Office and the Keelung Motor Vehicle Office collaborated to host the first one-stop scooter licensing service in the Wanli District. Held at the Guihou Scooter Practice Field and the Guihou Citizen Activity Center, the event allowed 80 participants to complete their training, written exams, and road tests in a single location.

Previously, residents of Wanli had to travel to Jinshan or the Keelung Motor Vehicle Office in Qidu District to obtain licenses. Following the completion of the Guihou Scooter Practice Field last year, local officials worked to establish a similar service model to the one used in Jinshan to benefit elderly residents, youth, and new immigrants.

The event was originally scheduled for August 28 but was postponed due to the approach of Typhoon Shanshan. Officials coordinated with registered participants via telephone to manage the rescheduling.
