Wao High School to host traveling open school events in three cities

Wao High School, an online correspondence high school focusing on philosophy, science, and economics, has announced its third series of traveling open school events to be held across Japan in November.

The events are scheduled to take place in three locations: Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, on November 1; Sapporo, Hokkaido, on November 8; and Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, on November 21. These sessions are designed to allow prospective students, including middle schoolers considering future paths and high schoolers looking to transfer, to interact directly with teachers and current students.

Activities at the locations include school information sessions regarding online learning methods and support systems, as well as hands-on experiences with the school’s signature dialogue-based classes, such as the “Philosophy Inquiry” workshop and the “Real Philosophy Cafe.” Individual consultations will also be available for those seeking specific advice on academic reports, study abroad, or career goals.
