Actor Oji Suzuka, who portrays the protagonist Kanji Sato, a struggling university student and YouTuber, discussed his role in an interview. He noted the challenge of portraying a character who maintains a sense of kindness while being driven to desperation by financial hardship. Suzuka emphasized the importance of depicting the character's descent into a difficult situation caused by the need to support his grandmother.

Regarding digital availability, the film is not currently available on major streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime Video or Netflix. While specific release dates for streaming services have not been announced, U-NEXT is noted as a potential platform for future distribution.
