Warabi-mochi Specialty Store Mondo to open in Chikuma, Nagano

Kadofuji will grand open the Warabi-mochi Specialty Store Mondo Nagano Chikuma branch on October 26, 2026, in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture. The new location is expected to feature a black-themed exterior.

The store will offer a variety of menu items, including the signature authentic warabi-mochi known as ‘Zeimi’. This product, named after the classical term ‘Koubi-kuimi’, is made with high-quality warabi powder to achieve a unique, melting texture and is served with three types of kinako: Fukuyutaka, black sesame, and deep-roasted.

Additionally, the shop will feature ‘WARABI-TA’, a new style of warabi-mochi drink developed in collaboration with a Michelin-starred chef. The menu is designed to be enjoyed across all seasons, whether as a chilled summer treat or a warm accompaniment to tea in winter.
