Waratah Minerals and WA Gold report high‑grade drilling results in Australia

Waratah Minerals (ASX:WTM) announced continued high‑grade gold intercepts from its 80,000 m drilling program at the Spur Gold Zone in New South Wales. Recent diamond holes returned results such as 55.9 m at 2.63 g/t gold, including 1 m at 108 g/t, and 31.9 m at 4.45 g/t gold. Other holes delivered 25 m at 2.05 g/t, 9 m at 4.55 g/t and 2 m at 16.68 g/t, extending near‑surface mineralisation across a 500‑m corridor south of the Essex Fault. Managing Director Peter Duerden said drilling continues across multiple targets at Spur, Consols, Ironclad and Gazzards.

WA Gold (ASX:WAU) has commenced a reconnaissance drilling program at its Bullabulling project in Western Australia, targeting a northern extension of the Bullabulling Shear Zone. The program comprises 46 air‑core holes totalling about 3,680 m. Early historic drilling at the site recorded near‑surface high‑grade gold, including 2 m at 18.1 g/t and 12 m at 2.3 g/t. CEO Ben Pollard highlighted the importance of testing the shear‑zone extension, with assays from the first three diamond holes expected in early July. A drilling contractor has agreed to undertake part of the program in exchange for equity, helping to conserve cash.
