Warburg and Ettlingen launch summer market and lounge festivals in July‑August

The historic town of Warburg in Germany will hold its second "Feierabendmarkt" on 15 July from 16:00 to 20:00 in the Altstadt. Around 15 regional vendors will sell fresh fruit, cheese, meat, burgers, falafel and other local specialties. Musical entertainment includes DJ Marius and singer‑songwriter MAURA and the Moonfields, with mayor Tobias Scherf inviting residents to enjoy the summer atmosphere.

In the neighbouring town of Ettlingen, the "Sommerlounge 2026" returns to Erwin‑Vetter‑Platz from 30 July to 21 August, operating every Thursday and Friday evening. The program features live bands, DJs, and a rotating lineup of street‑food trucks and beverage stalls. Highlights include DJ Thorsten’s "Beach & Chill" sessions and evening concerts by local artists such as Harry Schumacher & Lisa Huber. The events aim to create a relaxed after‑work ambiance for locals and visitors alike.
