Wardah launches Derma Longevity Lab to address reactive skin concerns
Research published in Acta Dermato-Venereologica indicates that reactive skin is increasingly common, with one in two people reporting such conditions. Symptoms like redness, dryness, itching, or breakouts are often perceived as sudden, but they can be recurring issues influenced by external and internal factors such as UV exposure, temperature changes, pollution, stress, and hormonal shifts.
To address these concerns, Wardah has introduced the Wardah Derma Longevity Lab. The initiative utilizes an AI Personalized Skin Analyzer to detect skin parameters and classify conditions through standardized skin grading. This technology, combined with lifestyle assessments, aims to identify skin problem triggers and provide personalized recovery guidance.
Dermatologist dr. Arlene Rainamira, Sp. DVE, emphasizes that skin health should not be judged solely by surface appearance. Understanding individual skin signals and the skin barrier's natural defense mechanisms is essential for determining appropriate long-term care and recovery steps.
