WARDOGS announces final beta test and $100K clip contest

Developer Bulkhead and publisher Team17 have announced the final closed beta test for the military FPS WARDOGS. The test is scheduled to begin on September 4, following ‘The FPS Games Show’. This follows a previous closed beta test that saw peak concurrent players exceed 100,000. The game, which features 100-player matches across three teams with destructible environments and base construction, is slated for early access on Steam starting September 11.

In conjunction with the upcoming launch, Bulkhead has announced a $100,000 clip contest. Players can submit in-game clips under two minutes long via social media using the hashtag #WARDOGS100K or through the official website. The top-ranked clip will receive $100,000 in real cash, while the top 100 creators will receive $100,000 in in-game currency. Judging criteria include teamwork, decision-making, and demonstrating the game’s unique warfare mechanics.
