Wardogs reaches 3 million sales and implements anti-cheat measures
Bulkhead’s multiplayer FPS, Wardogs, has achieved significant commercial success, surpassing 3 million copies sold. The title reached the number one spot on the Steam revenue charts, maintaining its lead over established competitors such as Counter-Strike 2 and PUBG: Battlegrounds. Despite initial technical difficulties with servers and queues during its launch period, the game has demonstrated sustained momentum.
In response to the game's growth, Bulkhead has released update 0.1.2 to address economy exploits and cheating. The developer announced a zero-tolerance policy for players abusing glitches to gain experience or money, stating that repeat offenders may face permanent bans without warning. Additionally, players caught trading in-game items for real-world currency will have their progress and funds reset.
The update also introduces technical fixes, including server-side controls for revive mechanics to prevent long-distance exploits, adjustments to structure destruction rewards, and various gameplay bug fixes involving grenades, vehicles, and aiming mechanics.
