Warendorf Federal Training Centre hosts youth equestrian event

Approximately 80 children from two kindergartens in Warendorf and Sassenberg participated in an event at the Warendorf Federal Training Centre as part of the nationwide “Vielfalt Pferd” (Diversity Horse) action week.

The initiative aims to provide people without prior knowledge the opportunity to encounter horses and reduce fears of contact. Rather than focusing on recruiting new riders, the program emphasizes experiencing the fascination and positive aspects of interacting with horses.

Activities for the children included meeting a mini-shetty, using riding simulators to experience trot and gallop, watching vaulting demonstrations, and participating in hobby horsing, face painting, and horse-themed drawing.
