Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV Necrons Trailer Shows Return to Kronus

Deep Silver and KING Art Games released the third CGI trailer in a four‑part series for the upcoming real‑time strategy Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV. The spot focuses on the Necrons, revealing the ancient Szerkhan Dynasty awakening after a 60‑million‑year slumber to reclaim the tomb world Kronus. Chronomancer Thothmek commands legions of Necron Warriors, Triarch Stalkers, Canoptek Scarabs, Lych Guard and a colossal fleet poised to purge any opposition.

The game is scheduled for a PC launch on 17 September 2026, with the Commander Edition granting a three‑day early‑access window from 14 September. Pre‑orders of both standard and Commander editions are currently available with a 10 % discount. Year One will bring free updates, including the return of Crusade mode, new maps, additional commanders, a mission editor, and two story expansions that introduce a fifth playable faction.
