Warhorse Studios Targets 2027-2028 Release for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3

At ChinaJoy 2026, Tobias Stolz‑Zwilling, head of public relations for Warhorse Studios, indicated that the next installment of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series is planned for the company’s fiscal year 2027‑2028, suggesting a launch within the next two years. The studio said most of its staff are now dedicated to the sequel, while a smaller team is beginning research on a separate Middle‑Earth‑themed project linked to The Lord of the Rings.

Warhorse emphasized that the new game will retain the series’ focus on historical realism and a medieval experience, rejecting market‑driven trends. The company also noted strong enthusiasm from Chinese players at the fair, though a Chinese dub is not yet guaranteed because of the large volume of dialogue and associated costs.
